He noted that San Juan Bay receives a high percentage of the island's supplies and that the barge's size could put the area at risk. Experts have warned about potential risks in the bay. Fonseca said New Fortress Energy has faced problems with its vessels for the past two years, threatening the island's energy stability, and he criticized the company's financial crisis as well as the politicians who backed its arrival in Puerto Rico.
