What 787daily is

787daily publishes two kinds of news. Most items are English summaries of Spanish-language reporting from Puerto Rico's press: each one names the outlet, links to the original, and the reporting belongs to that outlet. Some items are our own reporting, labeled "787daily · Original analysis" or carrying the byline "By 787daily". Our editorial standards explain both.

Content and accuracy

Most summaries are drafted with AI and checked for faithfulness to their source; some are written or edited by hand; How we work explains which. Everything we publish is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but we cannot guarantee that every item is free of errors, omissions, or mistranslations. If you spot an error, please contact us so we can correct or remove the item. Our corrections policy says how we fix mistakes.

Do not rely on 787daily summaries for legal, medical, financial, or emergency decisions. Always consult the original source article and qualified professionals.

Intellectual property

For outlet summaries, all credit and intellectual-property rights for the underlying reporting belong to the original source outlets and their journalists. Headlines, trademarks, and reported facts remain the property of their respective owners, and 787daily claims no ownership over the outlets' reporting.

The 787daily name, logo, and site design are our own. Please do not reproduce the name, logo or site design without permission. This does not limit the reuse of our data described below.

Reusing our data

Data and charts we compile (reservoir levels, outage records, rankings, widgets) are licensed CC BY 4.0: credit 787daily.com with a link. Outlets' reporting and photos keep their own terms; our widgets may be embedded as provided. See 787daily on your site for the widgets and data files.
