The Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) has released an update on gasoline prices in Puerto Rico, amidst fluctuations in fuel costs on the island. As of June 23, the price of regular gasoline is expected to range between $1.01 and $1.06 per liter, premium gasoline between $1.13 and $1.22, and diesel between $1.08 and $1.14.
The prices have increased due to the conflict in the Middle East and disruptions in oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global supply. The DACO provides these updates to inform consumers about the current prices of gasoline in Puerto Rico.
