The play 'Seis', written by Uruguayan playwright Federico Roca, will be presented at the True Colors Fest from July 9 to 12 at the Sala Carlos Marichal del Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce. The play tells the story of six trans women who were murdered in Uruguay between 2002 and 2013, but instead of recreating the crimes, it focuses on the people and environments surrounding the victims.

The play is directed by Miguel Vando and features a cast of actors from different generations and schools of acting, who play between three and five characters each. Actors Edwin Ocasio and Kiara Santana highlighted the play's unique blend of drama and humor, which allows the audience to experience a range of emotions.

The play is part of the True Colors Fest and is presented by a Puerto Rican production company. Ocasio and Santana emphasized the importance of the play in sparking reflection on the reality of hate crimes and the need for generational change in Puerto Rican theater.
