The municipality of Aibonito has reopened the historic Teatro Encanto after a major renovation that incorporated modern technological equipment. The theater, which can accommodate 215 people, will offer a diverse program of activities, including updated movie screenings, live performances, and artistic presentations.
The renovated space features modern sound, lighting, and projection systems, as well as dressing rooms. According to Mayor Willie Alicea Pérez, the theater's operation will be managed by a municipal company aimed at promoting cultural activity, strengthening local entertainment options, and creating job opportunities for residents.
The official reopening will take place on Sunday, July 19, at 1:00 p.m. The municipality invites the public to be part of this new phase of the Teatro Encanto, which seeks to become a cultural and entertainment reference point for the community again.
