Ida Claudio, at 89 years old, will perform in concert at Musas y Eventos in the Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce on August 2 at 4:30 p.m. The concert, titled 'Cuando la vida te deje sin pabras', will feature Claudio accompanied by Cuqui Rodríguez on piano and Gabriel Oliver on percussion, performing hits from composers like Tito Henríquez, Sylvia Rexach, and Pedro Flores.
Claudio, who began her career over 70 years ago, expressed her excitement to return to the stage after a period of poor health. She started her career on the radio program 'Tribuna del arte' with Rafael Quiñones Vidal and later worked in television, including on the program 'El Show Coca Cola'.
Claudio has had a long and distinguished career, including recording the iconic religious song 'Creo en Dios' with Tito Lara and Los Hispanos in 1955.
