Kwikset, a brand of locks and access systems, has expanded its distribution in Puerto Rico to over 50 stores, including National Lumber Yard and other hardware stores. The company has established a local management, warehouse, and delivery system on the island. This move is part of a strategic relaunch to increase its reach beyond its existing sales channels in the Puerto Rican market.
Kwikset's products will be available in National Lumber Yard stores and other hardware stores across the island. The new strategy includes local management, a distribution center, and an online store with direct delivery to homes. The company ensured that its operation in Puerto Rico will be 100% local.
Although Kwikset already sold its products on the island through stores like Home Depot, the company clarified that this initiative is an expansion of its distribution network and operational structure, not its first entry into the market. The process began in the second half of 2025 and was developed with the Puerto Rican agency SajoMcCann, which will serve as the brand's strategic partner in the local market.
