Alexis Torres, former Secretary of the Department of Public Safety and current distributor of Flock Safety's automatic license plate reader (ALPR) cameras in Puerto Rico, stated that he has not received any requests for data related to these devices from the Office of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in San Juan, which is part of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and is headed by his wife, Rebecca González. Torres' statement comes as the use of Flock Safety cameras in Puerto Rico has raised questions about access to their data.
