Puerto Rico Nears Coast-to-Coast Broadband Internet Goal

Nine years after Hurricane María left Puerto Rico largely without communications, the island's telecommunications industry has not only rebuilt but is advancing toward a goal of providing 100% of inhabited areas across the archipelago with fixed internet service of at least 100 megabits per second (Mbps) by December 31, 2027.
