According to an analysis of Crece test results, students in Puerto Rico’s public schools have shown improvement in standardized test scores over the past two years. This improvement places Puerto Rico among the top US jurisdictions with the greatest academic growth.
The Department of Education notes that this growth has benefited both low-performing students and those who already had good academic achievement. The results indicate a positive trend in the academic performance of Puerto Rico’s students compared to other jurisdictions.
