Agents from the San Juan Intelligence and Arrests Division, in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals Task Force and the FBI, carried out a surveillance operation in the Los Laureles residential area in Cupey, where they arrested Malik Jordan Walrond León, a 27-year-old resident of Guaynabo and federal fugitive. The arrest was related to the 'Gangster's Paradise' operation, which was previously conducted in the Manuel A.
Pérez residential area. At the time of his arrest, Walrond León was found with a Smith & Wesson rifle, two pounds of apparent marijuana, and $3,350 in cash. Additionally, a Glock pistol, various ammunition, and a large quantity of drugs, including cocaine, heroin, and marijuana, were seized.
The U.S. Marshals Task Force took custody of the arrested individual, while the FBI took custody of the seized evidence.
