The Secretary of the Department of Transportation and Public Works, Edwin González Montalvo, announced on social media that a new Centro de Servicios al Conductor (CESCO) will be opened in the Plaza Las Américas mall in Hato Rey. The new facility will be located on the second level of the mall and will have nine service windows and a 'CESCO expreso'.
The exact date of the closure of the current CESCO location at the Sagrado Corazón train station in Santurce and the opening of the new location has not been established. According to González Montalvo, construction work has already begun to provide a renovated, more accessible, and comfortable space.
