Rei Cintrón and Jessy Cotto, a married couple, are taking their social media presence to the theater with their new show 'Uno y Media: De todo un poco... y un poquito'. The show, which features their children Sara and Lucas, aims to bring comedy to all Puerto Rican families. It will premiere on September 27 at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce and will later tour to the Teatro José M.
Lugo de Fajardo on October 25 and the Teatro América de Vega Baja on November 15. The concept of 'Uno y Media' was born in 2011, when Cintrón proposed to his then-girlfriend Cotto that they create their own sketches. The name 'Uno y Media' comes from their height difference, with Cintrón standing at 6 feet tall and Cotto at 4'8".
The couple wants to bring clean and family-friendly comedy to the stage, where people of all ages can enjoy and identify with the humor. Cintrón stated that there is a need for comedy that can be enjoyed by the whole family, from grandparents to children, and that their show aims to provide a quality time for families to spend together.
