Journalist Jonathan Lebrón announced that Cirque du Soleil may establish a residency in Puerto Rico as part of a project driven by Discover Puerto Rico and its partners. The show would be inspired by elements of Puerto Rican culture and identity.
According to Lebrón, the performance will be a Cirque du Soleil show set in Puerto Rico, featuring elements such as coquíes and the island's sounds and flavors. Cirque du Soleil has already had a similar themed residency experience in Mexico, La Ribera Maya.
