Two Young Men Identified as Victims of Double Homicide in Barrio Obrero

The Police have identified two young men killed in the early hours of Sunday in Barrio Obrero, Santurce. Nomar A. Rosario González, 20, and Miguel A. Amador Sierra, 25, both from San Juan, were found shot. Rosario González had a record for controlled substances and gender violence, while Amador Sierra had cases for serious assault and a violation of the Vehicle Protection Law.

The double homicide was reported at 5:39 a.m. on September 27 after a 9-1-1 call about gunfire. Police found a blue vehicle with bullet impacts and the bodies of the two men, one in the front passenger area and the other on the pavement, both with gunshot wounds. The circumstances of the crime are under investigation by the San Juan Homicide Division, prosecutor Iván Rivera, and the Forensic Sciences Institute.
