To Create the Law for the Regulation of Athletic Eligibility Based on Biological Maturity

This bill prohibits athletic reclassification of students in Puerto Rico, and establishes that competition is based on chronological age, not school grade, and prohibits grade demotion for athletic reasons up to the 10th grade.

Para crear la " Ley para la Regulación de la Elegibilidad Atlética Escolar Basada en la Madurez Biológica.", a los fines de prohibir la reclasificación de estudiantes atletas con fines deportivos en Puerto Rico; establecer que la competencia se regirá por la edad cronológica y no por el grado escolar; prohibir el descenso de grado académico por motivaciones atléticas hasta el décimo grado; establecer la jurisdicción del Departamento de Recreación y Deportes; y para otros fines relacionados.”
