Para ordenar a la Comisión de Familia, Mujer, Personas de la Tercera Edad y Población con Diversidad Funcional e Impedimentos del Senado de Puerto Rico realizar una investigación exhaustiva sobre la implementación, funcionamiento y efectividad de la Ley 61-2018, según enmendada, conocida como “Ley de Adopción de Puerto Rico”; evaluar los procedimientos utilizados para identificar, registrar y ubicar a los menores que se encuentran disponibles para adopción; examinar las circunstancias, barreras administrativas, legales, sociales o institucionales que puedan estar dilatando o impidiendo la culminación de los procesos de adopción; analizar las estrategias utilizadas por el Gobierno de Puerto Rico para orientar a las personas interesadas en adoptar y promover las distintas alternativas de adopción disponibles; identificar posibles medidas dirigidas a agilizar, facilitar y fortalecer dichos procesos, salvaguardando en todo momento el bienestar y el mejor interés de los menores; y para otros fines relacionados.
