The University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, will host the International Flag Football Camp on July 10 and 11, a free initiative for children and youth aged 8 to 18. The camp aims to promote athletic, personal, and academic development through flag football. Participants will train with professional players, including Jermaine Smith, Christen Miller, Kobee Minor, and Idrees Bashir, and acquire knowledge both on and off the field.
The camp will also include a financial education workshop to teach responsible money management and planning. All participants will receive free lunch and hydration. Interested individuals can register for free through a provided online form.
The camp seeks to provide an accessible and comprehensive experience for Puerto Rican families, promoting the development of athletic skills, values, and life tools in an environment of learning, inclusion, and healthy competition.
