Multiple Murders Reported During Father's Day Weekend

The Puerto Rico Police are investigating several murders that occurred during the Father's Day weekend. The first case was reported on Saturday in Canóvanas, where 38-year-old Donett M. Garth Durán, a resident of San Juan and native of Nicaragua, was found dead in the Monte Verde sector of the San Isidro neighborhood. Over 50 bullet casings of different calibers were found at the scene.

No arrests have been made. Later on Saturday, a 61-year-old man, José Francisco Pérez Rosario, was found dead with gunshot wounds in front of a business in Gurabo. In a separate case, 27-year-old Egaldo José Oquendo, a resident of Toa Baja, was found dead with gunshot wounds in an abandoned structure in Río Piedras. Two bullet casings were found at the scene.

Another murder was reported on Sunday in Comerio, where an unidentified man was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head inside a vehicle. No arrests have been made in any of the cases, and the Police are continuing to investigate.
