Puerto Rican coach Fernando Morales has been announced as the new head coach of the Madison team for the 2026-27 season of the League One Volleyball (LOVB) in the United States. Morales, who has previously coached university programs, clubs, and national teams, signed a two-year contract with a six-figure salary per season.

He will be assisted by fellow Puerto Rican Jesús Echevarría. The LOVB season will begin in November and feature 12 teams divided into two conferences.

Morales expressed optimism about the team's potential, stating that the roster is improved from last year and that they will be competitive in the Eastern Conference. Notably, the team does not have any Puerto Rican players on its roster, while several Puerto Rican players have been announced for the rival Major League Volleyball.
