The Cangrejeros de Santurce baseball team, along with the Multinational Foundation, the Municipality of San Juan, and Hunger Corp, have launched a humanitarian campaign to support families affected by recent earthquakes in Venezuela. The campaign will take place from June 29 to July 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Hiram Bithorn Stadium serving as a main collection center. Donations of essential items such as water, non-perishable food, medical supplies, and personal hygiene products will be accepted.
San Juan Mayor Miguel A. Romero Lugo expressed gratitude to the organizations leading the initiative and encouraged the public to donate. The campaign aims to provide aid to affected communities in Venezuela, with a wide range of items being collected, including food, medicine, and clothing.
Volunteers will be stationed at the stadium to receive donations and facilitate the process.
