Motorcyclist Dies After Collision with Vehicle in Toa Baja

A 27-year-old motorcyclist, John Cuevas Rosado, died on Friday after being involved in a collision with a vehicle on PR-165 in Toa Baja. The accident occurred at approximately 6:20 a.m. at kilometer 6.7 of the road, in the direction of Dorado towards Toa Baja. Cuevas Rosado was riding a black and yellow Husqvarna motorcycle when it collided with the rear right side of a 2022 Toyota Tacoma driven by a 27-year-old woman.

The woman was heading to take Jaime Fonalledas Boulevard. As a result of the impact, Cuevas Rosado was ejected and suffered serious injuries, and was later pronounced dead at a hospital. The driver of the vehicle was given a preliminary alcohol test, which resulted in a 0.0% reading.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
