Kiki Del Valle, a Puerto Rican executive, has been appointed Executive Vice President of Product Acceptance for Mastercard in North America, as part of the company's executive reorganization. Del Valle previously served as President of the North Latin America Division, a position now held by Silvana Hernández, who will report to Andrea Scerch, President of Mastercard for Latin America and the Caribbean.
During her tenure, Del Valle focused on capturing new business sources through card issuance, new payment acceptance methods, and data services. She prioritized five key areas for growth in the Mexico, Central America, and Caribbean region, including financial inclusion and digital incorporation.
Del Valle joined Mastercard in 2008 and has led initiatives to transform the mobile payments ecosystem. Hernández, with over 15 years of experience at Mastercard, previously served as Executive Vice President of Core Payments for Latin America.
