Vivianie Díaz Arroyo, a delegate from Aguas Buenas, participated in Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2026 and finished as the second finalist. With her experience as a national finalist in 2019 and third finalist in Miss Grand International 2021, Díaz demonstrated maturity, eloquence, and veteran status.
After the competition, she posted a message on social media expressing gratitude and reflecting on her experience. She thanked her family, team, and supporters, and stated that she took away something valuable, including the love of the people and the peace of knowing she competed with purpose and dignity.
Díaz also addressed rumors that she had 'bought' the crown, saying 'it seems that the budget only allowed me to reach second finalist.' She hopes that people will learn to be more empathetic and not spread misinformation.
