Puerto Rico Police are investigating the death of 51-year-old Rubén A. Rodríguez Ocasio, who died while receiving medical assistance at the Centro Médico after being shot in Río Piedras. The incident occurred at approximately 2:13 a.m. on the street Ramón B.
López, near the business El Millenium. Rodríguez Ocasio, a San Juan resident, was initially taken to a local hospital where he was diagnosed with multiple gunshot wounds and later referred to the Centro Médico in critical condition. Authorities found six 9mm bullet casings, two large bloodstains on the pavement, and a 2011 gray Toyota Tacoma with bloodstains at the scene.
Agent Ana Quiñones from the Agresiones Division is leading the investigation.
