The Puerto Rico Professional Boxing Commission and ARC Sports & Entertainment announced a partnership to create and publish monthly rankings of Puerto Rico's professional boxing, aiming to provide an updated reference for the sport and increase visibility for the island's top fighters. The rankings will include the top five boxers in each weight division, as well as a pound-for-pound ranking in both men's and women's categories.
The rankings will be published monthly on the Commission's and ARC Sports & Entertainment's digital platforms, with the first edition available on July 1. José Miguel Pérez, president of the Commission, stated that the rankings represent an important tool to recognize the talent, discipline, and trajectory of Puerto Rico's boxers.
Jesús Cruz Arce, director and founder of ARC Sports & Entertainment, indicated that the initiative aims to strengthen the projection of Puerto Rican boxing and generate more conversation about its top performers.
