Travis Trice, an American basketball player, has been recognized as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) for the second time in three years. Trice, who plays for the Criollos, led his team to their second championship in the BSN in 2024 and was named MVP of both the regular season and postseason. He recently received his second MVP award at the BSN Awards ceremony held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Condado.
Trice, 33, averaged 17.2 points and 7.9 assists in 20 games for the Grises de Humacao in 2023. He joined the Criollos in 2024 and had a historic season, leading the team to a championship. Trice stated that he values moments outside of basketball, such as winning a championship with his brother in Poland and his first college game, which was played on an aircraft carrier in front of then-President Barack Obama.
The Criollos finished the 2025 season with a record of 18-16 and lost to the Cangrejeros de Santurce in the quarterfinals, but Trice's performance this season earned him his second MVP award.
