The schedule for the men's baseball tournament at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo has been released. Puerto Rico will face host country Dominican Republic in the inaugural game on July 31 at 7:00 p.m. at Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal. Puerto Rico is part of Group A, along with Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Curazao.
The top three teams from each group will advance to the second round. Puerto Rico's subsequent games in the group stage are against Cuba on August 1 at 3:00 p.m. and against Curazao on August 2 at 3:00 p.m. The second round is scheduled for August 4-6, and the medal round will take place on August 7.
The Puerto Rico Baseball Federation has narrowed down its national team selection to 28 players, from an initial list of 49, and will make a final cut to 24 players to represent Puerto Rico at the games.
