Mister Puerto Rico Petite & Tall (MPRPT) and Miss Latin Beauty Puerto Rico (MLBPR) have announced the start of the selection process to find new ambassadors to represent Puerto Rico in international beauty pageants. The organizations will award national titles for Man of the World Puerto Rico, Mister International Puerto Rico, and Mister Petite Puerto Rico, with the winners competing in international competitions in the Philippines and Brazil.
This year, they will also hold the first edition of Woman of the World Puerto Rico, which will choose the island's representative for the 2027 Woman of the World pageant in the Philippines. The competitions are open to men and women aged 18-45, including married men, single mothers, and individuals of other nationalities residing in Puerto Rico.
The selection process will include two official castings, one on July 11, 2026, in Hatillo and another on July 25, 2026, in San Juan. The national directors, Chayanne Villafañe and Pedro Chico, emphasized the organizations' commitment to forming leaders and ambassadors who can represent Puerto Rico with dignity on the international stage, promoting values such as discipline, leadership, and social commitment.
