Garnier Puerto Rico has announced the return of the Garnier Green Road 5K, a plastic-free running event that combines physical activity, entertainment, and environmental commitment. The event will take place on August 8 at the Parque Agroturístico de Dorado and will feature a 5K run followed by an 'after party' with musical producer Tainy.
Garnier aims to reduce plastic use during the event by using recyclable materials and minimizing single-use plastics. Natalie Pietri, Garnier's brand manager for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, stated that the event reaffirms the company's commitment to creating spaces that connect with the community while promoting environmentally conscious actions.
The event will start at 1:00 pm with various activations, including a hair styling booth and a space for creating signs to support the runners. The 5K run will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by a Recovery Zone and an 'after party' at 6:00 pm with food options, rest areas, and other activities.
