Puerto Rico Comptroller Carmen Vega Fournier revealed on Monday that the Puerto Rico Innovation and Technology Service (PRITS) has kept a digital platform out of operation despite having disbursed $130,000 for it. The comptroller’s audit findings pointed to deficiencies in PRITS’s strategic planning, accountability practices, and oversight of cybersecurity within the government.
Vega Fournier urged PRITS officials and employees to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
