Frontier Airlines announced Tuesday it will begin operating a daily flight between Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston, Texas, starting December 17, 2026, as part of an expansion of its U.S. and Caribbean route network. The new route will offer daily service with introductory fares starting at $99 per one-way trip, available for purchase until July 20 and for select travel dates through January 4, 2027, subject to restrictions and peak-demand blackout dates.
Josh Flyr, Frontier's vice president of network design and operations, said the airline is committed to affordable travel options and highlighted new connections to Houston, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and San Juan. The San Juan-Houston route is one of four new daily routes announced by the airline.
