Puerto Rican writer Leila Rosario Estremera will participate in the first edition of P'erre Book Expo, a literary fair to be held on July 18 and 19 at the Mayagüez Mall's Fuente Central. On July 18, Rosario Estremera will be available at her table to sell and sign her books, 'Las sombras del miedo: Cuentos para habitar lo invisible' and 'Coral de fuego', which reflect her versatility in transitioning between narrative and poetry. 'Las sombras del miedo', published in 2026, is a collection of 13 stories that explore the multiple forms of fear in human experience, while 'Coral de fuego' is a poetic journey between the Caribbean and the body, addressing desire, guilt, and love.
The event will bring together over 30 authors, three publishers, and seven bookstores to promote reading and strengthen the country's literary ecosystem. Rosario Estremera invites the public to visit her table, discuss literature, and purchase dedicated copies of her publications.
