The University of Puerto Rico (UPR) will hold UPR Fest 2026, a free event on Saturday, July 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Río Piedras Campus. For the first time, the event will bring together the academic offerings, student services and university experiences of all 11 UPR campuses in one location. It is aimed at high school and college students, parents, and anyone interested in the academic opportunities offered by Puerto Rico's main public higher education system.
The festival will feature official campus mascots, student services, artisans, student entrepreneurs, a store, and various food trucks. Attendees can explore undergraduate and graduate programs, speak directly with admissions staff, faculty, and campus representatives, and receive guidance on admission requirements, research opportunities, financial aid, and student support services. Specialized staff will help prospective students complete their admission applications and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
UPR President Dr. Zayira Jordán Conde said the event offers future students and their families the chance to learn, in one place, about the diversity of academic programs and opportunities across UPR, helping them identify the campus and program best suited to their academic and professional goals.
