The owner of the Montellano dairy farm, located on PR-743 in the Las Vegas neighborhood of Cayey, reported a theft of six Holstein cows to the police. The owner discovered the missing cattle while counting the herd and stated that no one was authorized to move them.
The stolen cattle are valued at $12,000, according to Agent Velmarie Pérez of the Cayey district. The case has been referred to the Cuerpo de Investigaciones Criminales (CIC) in Caguas for investigation.
The owner has filed a complaint and is seeking action against the perpetrators.
