Salomé Lyle Abreu, 12, Ángel Trinidad Merced, 13, and Kamila Mercedes Merced, 14, had never worked with clay to create ceramics before. However, they discovered that making their first ceramic pieces was a fun, transformative, and liberating experience, allowing them to express many feelings through their hands.
The activity enabled them to convey emotions they had inside, despite their young age.
