The Governing Board of the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (AEE) unanimously approved the extension of contracts with Genasys Puerto Rico LLC and Bermúdez, Longo, Diaz, Massó LLC for an additional year to develop the Early Warning System in Puerto Rico's 37 dams. The extension aims to continue the development of the system, which is intended to provide early warnings for the dams.
The AEE's Governing Board approved the extension, which will allow the companies to continue working on the project.
