Thirteen Years of Indifference from the US Senate on Puerto Rico's Political Future

It has been thirteen years since the US Senate last held a hearing on Puerto Rico's political status, which took place on August 1, 2013. In the current Congressional session, there is not even any Senate legislation to consider regarding the issue.

The last hearing was held over a decade ago, and since then, there has been no significant action from the Senate on the matter.
