Two Arrested During Stolen Vehicle Transaction

Last night, police arrested two individuals, aged 35 and 26, in the parking lot of Premium Outlets in Barceloneta, while they attempted to sell a stolen all-terrain vehicle. The operation, part of an investigation into the theft of a four-track vehicle in the Bayamón area, resulted in the seizure of two firearms, a Glock 23 and a Glock 43X, along with ammunition.

A 2011 Toyota Tundra pickup truck, which contained the allegedly stolen four-track vehicle, was also seized. The investigation is led by Sergeant Juan B.

Román Delerme of the Arecibo Stolen Vehicles Division, in coordination with Sergeant Daniel Molina Ocasio of the Barceloneta District. The case is being reviewed by prosecutor Ilia Reichard Moran, who has ordered the detainees to remain in custody while the investigation continues and potential charges are evaluated.
