A motorist struck a man who was fishing on the PR-165 highway in Dorado, according to the Police. The incident occurred at kilometer 22.2, where a 24-year-old driver, traveling from Levittown to Dorado on a Taizhou Zhilong motorcycle, allegedly failed to notice the pedestrian fishing in the middle of the lane and hit him with the front of the motorcycle.
The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Río Piedras Medical Center. The motorist was taken to a local emergency room for a blood alcohol test.
Agent Diego Rivera and prosecutor Josué Padilla are in charge of the investigation.
