A 32-year-old woman arrived at the emergency room of a hospital in Mayagüez with two stab wounds, according to the Police. She was taken to the hospital by an acquaintance and received medical attention. The doctor on duty preliminarily diagnosed two puncture wounds.
The circumstances surrounding the incident and the location where it occurred are unknown. The current health condition of the victim has not been described. The initial investigation is being handled by Agent Emilio Rosado Arroyo, assigned to the Mayagüez District.
The case was reported to Inspector Joel González, director of the CIC, and the staff of the Technical Services Division.
