New Performances of "Qué Loca Familia" Announced

The comedy play "Qué Loca Familia" announces new performances in Puerto Rico after a successful premiere at the Caguas Fine Arts Center. The production will be presented at the Santurce Fine Arts Center on September 12 and at the Juana Díaz Fine Arts Center on October 3. The play features a cast including Jorge "Molusco" Pabón, Ocean Pabón, Paula Pabón, Luis Arroyo, Angie Rivers, Juliana Rivera, Carlos Vega, and Naymed Calzada.

Written and directed by Carlos Vega, the play explores the conflicts and dilemmas of a family with different personalities, generations, and views on life, tackling issues such as staying in Puerto Rico or emigrating, career choices, and coping with grief. The story takes place in the apartment of a father and daughter, where a brother, sister, and friends also live, creating a unique extended family. The play incorporates improvisation and audience reactions, making each performance fresh.
