A 20-year-old man was shot and injured in a shooting incident outside the La Patrona business in Cayey, according to the Puerto Rico Police. The incident occurred at night, and the victim reported that someone in a moving vehicle fired several shots, resulting in a superficial head wound.
Two Toyota Corolla vehicles, from 2021 and 2022, were also damaged during the incident. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
Agents from the Caguas area's CIC are investigating the incident. The shooting occurred on kilometer 0.5 of road 738 in the Montellano neighborhood of Cayey.
