For the first time, the March of Dimes 'Marcha por los Bebés' will have three godmothers from major local television networks. Gil Marie López from Telemundo, Katiria Soto from NotiCentro Wapa TV, and Kimberly Santiago from TeleOnce will participate together to support March of Dimes' mission to promote maternal and infant health and raise awareness about the importance of babies being born full-term and in good health.
The 'Marcha por los Bebés' will take place on Friday, September 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Juan 'Pachín' Vicéns Auditorium in Ponce, as part of the celebration of March of Dimes' 30th anniversary in Puerto Rico. López accepted the role of godmother due to her experience as a mother, aiming to give visibility to families facing high-risk pregnancies and births.
Soto highlighted the importance of educating women about pregnancy care, while Santiago expressed her commitment to spreading a message of prevention to women who aspire to become mothers.
