Puerto Rico comes into the tournament after winning victories over Cuba in the Central American and Caribbean Games and Canada in the Pan American Cup. The sixth edition of the Final Six tournament will take place from August 23 to 29 at the Juan 'Pachín' Vicens Auditorium in Ponce, featuring teams from Puerto Rico, United States, Canada, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Mexico.
The preliminary round will be played in a round-robin format from August 23 to 27, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs on August 28. Puerto Rico will debut against the Dominican Republic on August 23 and face Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, and the United States in the following days.
