Inspire Brands, the multi-brand company behind Arby's, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin', Jimmy John's and SONIC, announced an exclusive franchise development agreement with Fusion Restaurant Group, a Puerto Rico-based company, to bring Dunkin' back to the island. The first locations are expected to open in early 2027, though specific sites and the initial number of restaurants have not yet been revealed; details will be announced as the expansion progresses.

Dunkin' will offer its signature menu, including coffee, iced beverages, donuts and breakfast sandwiches. Michael Haley, President and International CEO of Inspire Brands, said Puerto Rico represents an excellent opportunity to expand Dunkin' in a market where the brand already enjoys strong recognition and affinity, and noted Fusion Restaurant Group's local market experience as a key factor behind the deal, adding that this new phase will allow the brand to reconnect with longtime consumers while introducing it to a new generation.

Mario J. Gaztambide, CEO of Fusion Restaurant Group, confirmed his company will lead Dunkin's return to the island, stating: "Dunkin' regresa a Puerto Rico y nos enorgullece liderar su regreso a la isla."
