Claudia Ramos Zorrilla, a publicist, entrepreneur, and current manager of the Gigantes de Carolina women’s basketball team, has written a children’s story called 'Am' Caro y el poder del juego'. The book is the first step in a larger project that aims to create a universe of characters, products, and initiatives that will impact future generations.
Ramos Zorrilla’s love for sports and her experience in advertising inspired her to develop the character of Caro, who represents the importance of authenticity. The story takes place on a basketball court and teaches children that being true to oneself is more important than trying to imitate others. Ramos Zorrilla comes from a family of writers and had always dreamed of publishing a book.
She collaborated with Jonathan Ocasio, creator of the character 'El Jibarito', to bring her idea to life. The project aims to promote values such as teamwork and self-acceptance, and to encourage children to be themselves in a world dominated by social media.
