Two employees at a gas plant on PR-127 in Peñuelas suffered burns in a fire. According to preliminary information, a 911 call alerted authorities to the emergency situation caused by a gas cylinder fire.
The unidentified employees were taken to an emergency room where they were diagnosed with first- and second-degree burns on different parts of their bodies. They were later referred to the Hospital Industrial in San Juan, but their condition was not reported.
