Nio García, an urban music artist, was the victim of an armed robbery at his Guaynabo residence, where three individuals stole gold and diamond items valued at approximately $300,000, according to preliminary information from the Puerto Rico Police. The incident occurred in the Gardenville neighborhood while García and his wife were inside the home. The three armed individuals, dressed in black and with their faces covered, entered the residence and intimidated the victims.
One of the assailants hit García on the head with the back of a firearm. The robbers also took a Louis Vuitton bag valued at around $6,000. The case was referred to the Bayamón Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC), which is handling the investigation to clarify the circumstances of the robbery and identify those responsible.
No arrests have been reported in connection with the incident. The police did not specify how the individuals entered the property or how they escaped.
