Porsche Center Puerto Rico introduced the new Cayenne Electric on Wednesday, expanding the brand's electric vehicle offerings on the island. The Cayenne Turbo Electric model reaches up to 1,156 horsepower, making it the most powerful Porsche production vehicle to date. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of approximately 162 miles per hour.
Orlando Pérez, General Sales Manager of Porsche Center Puerto Rico, stated that the arrival of the Cayenne Electric allows them to showcase how Porsche takes electrification to a new level of performance without losing emotion and versatility. The new model features an 800-volt electric architecture, allowing for high-speed charging, and has an estimated maximum range of 399 miles according to the European WLTP measurement cycle. The vehicle also includes a energy recovery system, adaptive roof spoiler, and aerodynamic elements.
The interior features Porsche's new Driver Experience system and the Flow Display, described as the largest screen used in one of their vehicles, with OLED technology, augmented reality functions, and customizable driving modes.
